Goodview Baptist Church is located on the shores of Smith Mountain Lake in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Roanoke, Virginia is about fifteen miles west and Lynchburg, Virginia, home of Liberty University, is due east about 45 minutes.  Goodview is a small town, real small.   The downtown area is home to Goodview Grocery and that's all.  Goodview proper is a mail route encompassing miles of rolling meadows and woodlands.  Goodview is God's country in the truest sense.       

     We are a Christ centered church, believing that Jesus is the only begotten son of God, was born of a Virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the Cross for our sins and rose again the third day.  All who believe on Jesus and accept Him as Lord and Savior will be saved.
